In 2005 Knight Frank studied the Hua Hin property market in some detail and has found that the most successful developments have proved to be upper-medium and medium priced condominiums with a take up of about 66 percent. High-end priced units have recorded a selling rate of about 40 percent. The best selling projects tend to be located near the beach and in close proximity to the main Petchakasem Road. Knight Frank’s report also states that “a well designed master plan and project layout with full facilities are known to be the main catalysts that will influence a prospective buyer's decision."

Condominiums offer comfort, convenience and are often located in prime locations. Most in Hua Hua have sea views and all offer a range of services including fitness centres, restaurants, swimming pools and tropical communal gardens to name but a few. Another major advantage of buying a condominium is Thailand’s favorable laws, allowing foreign nationals to purchase with minimum hassle.
